Defining Love

Love is caring about the other, feeling the pain of the other, sharing others happiness, understanding other, making others comfortable in your company..... Love is helping others in need. Love is passion, sacrifice, committment, discipline, determination............. Some make it their weakness. Some prosper in its strength. Some destroy themseleves in love. Some make it their source of energy. Love can bring darkness . Love can bring enlightement. Some get peace of mind. Some get sleepless nights. For some love is context dependent. For some it has no constraints.................Love has no expectation....Some says Love does not need expression. Some gives thousands of expression to love.......... Love is the ocean which drowns in itslef the world of hatred, selfishness, anger, violence, jealousy................Thread of love spawns in infinite dimensions across all boundaries. It extends from vitual world to real world, living to non-living, animal to plants, one animal to another animal, one region to other region, across all human relationships ............Love is in giving not in taking....


From the above passage one can understand that I am trying hard without success to bind Love in words. Each person can add one or more thing in the above passage to extend its meaning or define it in a totally different manner. Still, it will be far from being complete. For me, love is a felling that can not be expressed in words. You can know love only if you are in love. It is that emotional energy, the touch of which can change your life forever. An individual can only decide the course of his love. Its a state of pure heart in which u see yourself in your loved ones. True love is a disease which need no cure. Its a feeling that needs no forced expression. So, learn to love -> be in love -> feel it and enjoy the eternal happiness it brings to u. Rest is waste.
